Sales and Data Manager, Publishing e-commerce and website provider
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales and Data Manager. The company are an e-commerce and website provider for trade and academic publishers. The role involves selling solutions and software to customers, growing the pipeline, and data analysis of existing customers to facilitate upselling of additional services.
Duties of the role include:
- Manage sales pipeline and sales budget along with the Commercial Director
- Identify sales trends to drive success
- Develop presence in North America and the UK
- Negotiation of pricing and contracts
- Report and deliver sales performance reports
- CRM system management and development
- Travel to conferences in the UK, Canada and Europe approximately 6 times per year
Skills required:
- Publishing experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Experience with Google analytics
- Passionate about data and how it can enhance commerce
