Mare Nostrum Group Delivers Interview Masterclass in Partnership with Career Ready
On 20th April, staff from Mare Nostrum Group kicked off the first in a series of volunteering sessions with Career Ready, delivering an interview masterclass and mock interviews for students on the Career Ready Programme at Garforth Academy. The team provided students with plenty of insights from their own careers and experiences, in addition to hints and tips for what to expect, and how to excel in the interview seat. The mock interviews then gave the students a chance to put their skills to the test. The students from Garforth Academy were engaged and enthusiastic, and we are sure they will excel both in their Career Ready journey, and in their future professions.
The masterclass session was a great way to experience first-hand the value which the Career Ready programme provides for students across the UK, and the Mare Nostrum team look forward to getting involved in future volunteer opportunities with the charity.
Our volunteering with Career Ready forms part of Mare Nostrum Group’s wider charitable initiative, through which the team raised £12,000 in 2022. We are now focusing on volunteering our time with Career Ready and our other charitable partner, Speakers Trust.
