University of Notre Dame Press chooses Combined Academic Publishers for distribution, sales, and marketing in EMEA and APAC

The University of Notre Dame Press (UNDP) is delighted to announce that from the 1st March 2020 Combined Academic Publishers (a division of the Mare Nostrum Group) will be responsible for its distribution, sales, and marketing operation in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. From this date Combined Academic Publishers (CAP) will replace Eurospan as UNDP’s distributor, and orders will be supplied by Marston Book Services.

Michelle Sybert, sales and development director at the press, commented:

“Our books and authors confront global challenges and themes and offer new ideas and solutions to a world that faces an increasing number of imposing challenges. We have been impressed with Combined Academic Publishers’ initiatives to promote and sell university press books, and we look forward to growing our international reach through this new partnership.”

David Pickering, managing director of Combined Academic Publishers, commented:

“We are delighted to have been chosen as the partner of such an important university press publisher and the team are excited by the prospect of strengthening and developing UNDP’s international marketing operation. There are potentially advantageous synergies between UNDP’s list and those of some of our current clients—we feel that this will strengthen our offering in certain subject areas. Having successfully taken on other American university press operations in EMEA and APAC we feel well placed to help UNDP improve turnover in such an important territory.”
