We are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join the team looking after the marketing needs of our university press clients based in America. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, this would be an ideal first role for someone looking to build their marketing experience in publishing or broaden their responsibilities from a previous role.

Duties of the role include:

  • Create and co-ordinate marketing efforts around publication launches
  • Compile marketing reports biannually
  • Curate and publish email campaigns
  • Create digital assets for marketing activity including social media graphics, web banners and content for Amazon
  • Manage third party agencies/relationships
  • Create and manage webpages for events on the CAP website
  • Process author orders and review and inspection copy requests
  • Website customer service
  • Coordinate catalogue mailing twice a year
  • Attend academic conferences to represent client publishers’ books

Skills required:

  • Proficiency across Microsoft Suite
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Affinity or similar
