Marketing Assistant, Mare Nostrum Group
The Mare Nostrum Social Sciences team are recruiting a Marketing Assistant following recent expansion. The Marketing Assistant will be joining a small team of two, and will play an instrumental role in executing the marketing activities for a wide range of academic and professional publishers, covering areas such as education, business, psychology, history and many more.
Duties of the role include:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to design and update marketing materials such as flyers, adverts, graphics and catalogues. Working with a designer where necessary.
- Assisting in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns both online and offline.
- Dealing with customer communications and orders.
- Supporting external stakeholders such as authors with promotion and event efforts.
- Updating and maintaining CRM systems.
- Executing email campaigns to academics and relevant associations.
- Conducting market research.
- Maintaining online channels to ensure they remain accurate and up to date.
- Potential to represent Mare Nostrum Group and the publishers we represent at external events and conferences.
- Supporting the Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager with marketing and administrative tasks.
Skills required:
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ideally 1 year of experience in marketing, publishing or a related role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organisation skills with ability to work on multiple projects.
- Knowledge of Affinity would be desirable, but not essential.
